Stephanie commenced her working life by joining Norwich Union the UK’s largest Insurance Company and remained with them for 17 ½ years.
She held many positions within the company, commencing her employment as an administration assistant, working up to the role of Senior Consultant where she had dealings with Independent Financial Advisors, and gained a good understanding of what services they offered and how this benefited their clients.
In July 2005 Stephanie decided to focus her career in a different direction, whilst still remaining in Financial Services. She took the decision to become an Independent Financial Advisor (IFA). Utilising her many qualifications, knowledge and experience to provide completely tailored independent, often complex and directed financial planning to both Individuals and companies.
Stephanie specialises in the areas of retirement planning, enhanced annuities, pensions in divorce, lump sum investment and trust planning; at the same time Stephanie has continued with her professional studies and gained the qualification of Chartered Financial Planner during December 2007. Stephanie joined forces with James Watkin, to form Verity Wealth Management LLP, working within Washington and the surrounding North East areas, dealing directly with members of the public and local businesses, advising on all areas of a financial nature, mainly on a referral basis from existing clients and introducers.
Stephanie is married with two children, and when not working, is often found organising and helping out with fund raising for her Children’s School in Washington, Tyne and Wear.
